from the compassionate, spiritual and self sacrificing nature of Neptune's highest ideals. This aspect is the personification of the visionary dreams of utopian ideals so eloquently expressed in the fundamental belief that all men are created equal. The racist indignities endured by the innocent citizens of the land of freedom were exposed naked and ugly by this pacifist prophet as he assured a nation that we shall overcome.  In the midst of hatred, bigotry and violence he never wavered, never hesitated and never compromised the nonviolent ideals of Jupiter in the twelfth house trine Neptune.

His peaceful pursuit of change is also reflected in his Moon Venus conjunction. The Moon deals with our emotional nature. When combined with peaceful, nonaggressive, and very friendly Venus, you will find a gentle soul that abhors sensless violence. Einstein, another pacifist whos horoscope is in this section also had a Moon Venus aspect. His was a trine aspect of 120 degrees apart which all astrologers consider to be a gentle beneficial aspect. In Dr Kings chart the principal of Moon Venus is in the most powerful aspect two planets can make, a conjunction. When conjunct, the attributes of the two planets involved merge into one super planet. In this case it created a man known for peaceful pursuits of change.

In 1958 Dr. King wrote, "An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind" and at age 35 was the youngest man to ever be awarded the Nobel Prize for peace. In his last days he told us, "I have seen the promised land." The trine aspect between his Jupiter and Neptune tells us that he did indeed see the promised land. In addition, Pluto in the third house of communication, trine his ruling planet Venus, gave him the ability to communicate his vision with a purifying purpose that transcended oppression. Like his father before him, Dr. King was a preacher and a gifted communicater. Pluto in the third house along with a tenth house Mercury assures us of that simple fact. However, his greatest speech, the one that he is most associated with, was the one that most closley fits his natal horoscope. With his ruling planet located in the 11th house of goals, hopes, wishes, and dreams, being trined by transforming Pluto in the third house, he was born to tell us, "I have a dream". Sharing the philosophy and the destiny of Mahatmas Gandhi, he was the heart and soul of the civil rights movement while so eloquently expressing the essence of his horoscope, his Jupiter Neptune trine.

"I have a dream"

Dr. Martin Luther King jr  was the father of the civil rights movement from the late 1950's to his death in 1968. Basic astrology tells us he was a compassionate man born with the Moon in Pisces combined with a thirst for status, recognition and achievement from  his Sun being conjunct the cusp of the tenth house.  But, in this story I want to talk about the power of the aspects.  So let's examine the trine aspect between his Jupiter Neptune. The compassionate and moralistic nature of Jupiter is encouraged by simply being located in the twelfth house. However, all this, along with a religious nature instilled by his father another preacher, is greatly enhanced by the trine aspect
